Brooks Henderson, Lead Guitar

Brooks is known for playing guitar, but he started with piano and still plays today. He first sat down at the keys when he was just five years old and picked up the guitar three years later. Together the two instruments continue to shape and evolve his path as a musician.

His guitar style pulls from the high-voltage energy of Angus Young and AC/DC, the soulful phrasing of Buddy Guy, the raw intensity of Mike Shinoda, and the bluesy rock riffs of Stevie Ray Vaughan. The result is a sound that’s equal parts grit and groove, with room for both crushing riffs and expressive solos.

On stage, Brooks is at his best when the band launches into improv intros to songs like Enter Sandman. Improvs and solos let him stretch out and feed off the crowd—turning classic tunes into something personal every time.
