At just 14, Rhett is already proving himself as a dynamic multi-instrumentalist. First introduced to music in 5th grade music class, where he learned the trumpet, he quickly discovered a passion for performing and joined his first band a year later as a guitarist. More recently, he’s found his home on bass as the newest member of SunKast, bringing energy and precision to the band’s live sound.
Rhett’s favorite moment on stage comes with Sweet Child O’ Mine, where he gets to perform a solo. His influences range from the raw power and angst of Nirvana, to the versatility of Dave Grohl, to the fearless creativity of Radiohead—each shaping his style and fueling his drive to push boundaries.
Outside of the rock spotlight, Rhett enjoys basketball and hanging with his friends; he’s also a closet Parrothead who enjoys a cheeseburger in paradise.
