Auditioning Lead Singers

Band Requirements
SunKast rehearses weekly at Bach2Rock in Rocklin, and all band members are required to join the school’s band program . Additionally, the band plays 1–2 gigs per month in the Sacramento area, which requires the members to own and maintain their own gear (e.g., microphone and PA) appropriate for gigging. The band plays originals and covers classic, 80s and alt. rock songs.
Auditioning singers should be 13 or 14 years old and capable of learning the band’s complete set list of 20 songs. In addition to looking for a talented singer, the band is looking for someone who is a good fit with the group (energetic, collaborative, hard worker). Girl singers are especially encouraged to audition!

Audition Set List
Auditioning signers will be asked to perform four songs with the band, chosen to represent a range of styles across the set list:
- Sweet Child O’ Mine, Guns N’ Roses
- Enter Sandman, Metallica
- Back in Black, AC/DC
- So American, Olivia Rodrigo
